The US FDA Grants Approval to ALK’s Series of AccuTest Devices for Allergy Testing and Diagnosis

  • The US FDA has granted approval to a series of AccuTest skin testing devices and well trays for diagnosing allergy
  • The series consists of single skin prick testing device, AccuTest-1, as well as the multi-head AccuTest-8 & AccuTest-10. The multi-head devices have improved features for consistent results, and all devices have smaller tine lengths for higher accuracy and reduced patient discomfort
  • The trays include AccuTest 48-well & 60-well trays that are compatible with both single & multi-head devices. These trays consist of an air-tight locking to avoid contamination and a non-slip rubber bottom for stability, reducing errors & enhancing testing accuracy
